I've been a My Little Pony fan for as long as I can remember. I grew up watching generation 1 and 3, and I had some gen 3 toys. When Friendship is Magic came out in 2010, it captivated me and became my favorite thing for a long time. Of course, as I grew older, the things I used to like became childish and cringey, but I always had a soft spot for MLP. Most of my old toys were donated as I grew up. In 2022, I rewatched all of MLP:FiM and I learned about the small community that collects and preserves the older generation toys. I had not seen any gen 1 toys until then, and they were so beautiful and soft, I decided I wanted to be able to collect and preserve them myself.
At the moment, I have 31 ponies in my collection. Most of them are from gen 1, but I have a few from other generations. I have been wanting to catalogue them and include some more info on each of them, and I thought a webpage dedicated to them would be the perfect place to do that!
I started getting ponies off of Ebay and Etsy, but I prefer the thrill of finding them organically, visiting antique stores or vintage toy stores in my area or throughout my travels.
